Advise on provisions to minimize safety risks. Develop and enforce OSHA policies. Conduct Safety Inspections and Audits. Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions.  Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues. Intervene in unsafe activities or operations. Investigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accident. Organize and conduct OSHA training plans

Responsibilities & Scope: 

Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions. Audit worksite to ensure employees follow safety guidelines during construction. Ensured safety hazards were corrected, eliminated, or guarded. Report any safety issues and/or statistics. Inspect work areas before issuing general work permits as well as confined space and hot work permits. Test Atmospheric conditions on all confined spaces before personnel entry. Monitor confined space atmospheric levels for documentation on permits. Inspect and re-issue permits after any work stoppage for emergency shutdowns or accidents.  Review requests for permits on future work orders.

Measured and adjusted chemicals feed rates. Loaded and unloaded treatment plant chemicals. Preparation and testing of specialized drilling fluids . Team leader responsible for drilling fluids for recycling.

Duties included: Adjusting pumping systems, chemical feeders, auxiliary equipment, control systems storage tank levels and pump stations indicators. Conducted safety inspections and followed safety guidelines, standards, procedures, and rules. Loaded and unloaded ships, barges, railcars, and trucks  Evaluated procedures and results for accuracy and to determine appropriate flow of actions.
