Responsibilities & Scope: 

Managing environmental and water programs for an automotive facility. Monitored conditions to prevent permit violations, adjusting system requirements for effluent discharge from facility, and monitoring costs. Daily taskings include the following activities during the shift operations: day-to-day systems operation and maintenance (e.g., perform calibrations and routine maintenance, facilitate record keeping, and prepare discharge monitoring reports); inventory management and purchasing of operational supplies (e.g., chemicals, safety supplies, and spare and replacement parts); chemical program monitoring; high-purity water system monitoring; maintaining a web-based remote monitoring for water and wastewater treatment systems (including data analysis services); waste disposal management; regulatory program assistance (e.g., waste storage area inspections, storm water sampling, and regulatory report preparation); maintaining the pretreatment operations services.

Responsibilities & Scope: 

Management of all operations using NIMS/ICS within the ESF #3: Public Works and Engineering - Temporary Power Mission in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hurricane Maria Response for Louis Berger EMS and the USACE - Pittsburgh District. Developed, activated, and supervised organizational elements in accordance with the Incident Action Plan. Coordinated and conducted training and collaborative efforts with the local and stateside workforce. Coordinated the capabilities and resources to facilitate the delivery of services, technical assistance, maintenance expertise, project management, and other support to prepare for, respond to, and/or recover the regional operations.

Responsibilities & Scope: 

Implementing project-specific Department of Energy (DOE) and USACE environmental, occupational health, safety, and quality programs. Maintained and administered a safe and efficient work environment for both union and non-union employees. Developed and implemented digital (personal use devices/apps) and paperless processes and systems for employee training, quality (QA/QC) inspections, daily production/costing reports and submittals, and Root Cause Analysis/CAPA investigations. Assisted in developing an enhanced document control management system facilitating stakeholder and client participation in production, quality, and compliance reviews to near real time. Assisted in several DOE contract transition teams auditing environmental, safety, occupational health, quality, security, and management systems and documentation.

Position: HAZMAT Emergency Responder/Coordinator

Responsibilities & Scope: 

Hazardous Material Emergency Response coordinator. Responsible for the successful implementation of the installation environmental management systems and environmental compliance programs on over 300 regulated military facilities located in the States of Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. The scope covered the following programs: National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Installation Spill Contingency Plan (ISCP), Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit (NPDES), Storage Tanks and Bulk Storage Containers (AST/BSC), Hazardous Materials Management Program (HMMP), Global Harmonization System (GHS-HAZCOM) and Emergency Planning and Right to Know Act (EPCRA) requirements for Federal, State(s) and the Department of Defense/Department of the Army Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health management requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

10 years of experience in heavy construction (power/water/federal), 25 years if experience in QA/QC, environmental, safety, & occupational health management, 15 years of experience in HAZMAT emergency response & Federal Emergency Management, MS Office 365, MS SharePoint, SharePoint Server 2010 & 2013, Google Apps; IOS and DROID, Developer (Advanced Training), RMS 3.0, Bluebeam.

CERTIFICATIONS

USACE Site Safety and Health Officer, USACE Construction Quality, Management for Contractors , NPDES Stormwater Manager and Inspector, Certified Environmental, Safety, Occupational Health, and Quality Manager, Trainer, and Internal Auditor
